Urgent Care Partners (UCP), a national, turn-key urgent care development consultancy and Intellivisit, the creator of AI-enabled patient intake technology announce their strategic partnership bringing the Concierge Digital Assistant product to the urgent care clinic market. Concierge Digital Assistant uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist medical staff during patient intake, triage, and treatment.
UCP is on the forefront of modern urgent care development, operations, and technology, partnering with health systems to launch large scale urgent care centers and capture new patient populations. Partnership with Intellivisit will incorporate cutting edge technology to elevate the capabilities of clinical team members, increase provider productivity, and improve patient outcomes.
With the Concierge Digital Assistant, a medical assistant will be able to conduct a thorough medical interview with the patient using the AI application from a tablet or desktop. The AI driven dynamic interview asks the relevant clinical questions and develops a list of probable diagnosis for the provider to consider. A rules engine will automatically recommend tests and orders when the interview is completed. When a diagnosis is chosen, a patient summary note is automatically prepared and sent directly to the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Intellivisit AI draws on data from more than 10 million patient years and more than 40,000 symptoms and 4,000 diagnoses.
UCP Managing Director, Brandon Robertson stated, “UCP has been a leading innovator in the urgent care industry, assisting health system clients in setting the gold standard of urgent care operations and consumer-focused experience.” He continued, “Bringing the Concierge Digital Assistant to our clients elevates that standard by bolstering staff’s clinical capabilities and ensuring the medical interview is consistent, efficient, and of the highest quality.”
Jeff Miller, Intellivisit Chief Executive Officer added, “This partnership is a great match of strengths; UCP can help guide the development of the urgent care staff using the tool, and Intellivisit can apply our rules engine and AI to inform high caliber decision making.”
The UCP and Intellivisit collaboration is an innovative introduction of AI to in-person care delivery, that demonstrates the value of integrating AI tools with patient workflow to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
