We are thrilled to be able to serve the Southlake community. We’ve been hoping to open a clinic here for quite some time.
DALLAS (PRWEB)
November 03, 2020
CommunityMed Urgent Care, a locally owned and operated healthcare provider, is proud to open its tenth North Texas clinic in Southlake.
“We are thrilled to be able to serve the Southlake community,” said Birken Olson, the CEO of CommunityMed. “We’ve been hoping to open a clinic here for quite some time.” The new location will also serve patients from Trophy Club, Westlake, Keller, Colleyville, Grapevine and Coppell.
The family-friendly clinic’s COVID-19 testing includes Rapid Antigen and PCR Swab tests for those who might currently be contagious and Blood Antibody tests for patients that have been previously infected but aren’t currently contagious. Anybody can request a test – patients do not need to exhibit symptoms to get tested – and patients that receive the Rapid Antigen test will leave the clinic with their results on CommunityMed letterhead.
The Southlake location will also offer X-rays and urgent care services for injuries or illnesses that are not serious enough to go to the emergency room. Common conditions treated include broken bones, flu, diarrhea, urinary infections, rashes, strep and other infections.
In the coming months, the Southlake clinic will add occupational medical services, such as Department of Transportation physicals and drug screenings. To schedule an appointment or look at a full list of current services, visit https://communitymedcare.com/Southlake-Urgent-Care/
The new medical clinic is located off of E. Southlake Blvd. near the Chick-fil-A and across the street from Lowe’s. The address is 2315 E. Southlake Blvd. #110 Southlake TX 76092. The facility’s phone number is (817) 502-9220. It is open seven days a week: Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
CommunityMed accepts most major insurance providers, including Medicare and Tricare. For COVID-19 testing, patients may secure their place in line on the CommunityMed website. The healthcare provider implemented a virtual waiting room earlier this year, so patients can minimize the time they are in the clinic. CommunityMed also encourages patients to fill out most of the paperwork from the comfort of their home, delivering a modern patient experience.
The clinic joins CommunityMed locations in other DFW cities, including Arlington, Cross Roads, Haslet, Lantana, Melissa, Princeton, Prosper and Wichita Falls.
