‘Be Safe By Doing Good’ Custom Hand Sanitizer Supports Wish Families

A Wish Come True, the oldest wish granting organization in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, announced that its custom hand sanitizer is now available for purchase. With 100% of the proceeds going directly to the wish program, ‘Healthy Hands, Helping Heart’ was initiated in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to provide a much-needed product to the community and help the organization continue its mission of supporting wish kids and their families in their time of need.

Through a partnership with a generous donor, A Wish Come True hand sanitizer is already helping local families and businesses Be Safe By Doing Good. Organizations, such as Providence College, City of East Providence Police, Raffa Yoga and other local businesses have purchased the hand sanitizer to keep their employees and families safe, and A Wish Come True is hoping more organizations support this worthy cause.

“Now more than ever, our wish families are struggling with an even greater burden due to the pandemic,” said Mary-Kate O’Leary, Executive Director of A Wish Come True. “Medically fragile children are at a heightened risk of exposure in school or sports, and our families are struggling to fund even basic needs, such as buying groceries or paying their electric bill. This initiative provides a much-needed product to the community and goes directly to support a child suffering from a life-threatening illness. Businesses need to keep their employees safe AND they can help Wish Families while doing it. It is a win-win for everyone.”

The 2 oz. bottle is 80% alcohol and kills 99.9% of germs. With proceeds staying local to support wish kids and their families, all purchases are tax free and tax deductible. Individuals and organizations may order online by visiting the A Wish Come True website, http://www.awish.org. Pick up of product is preferred. Only orders of over 50 will be considered for delivery. It is a win-win for everyone.
