Touchstone Medical Imaging, headquartered in Franklin, TN, with regional offices in Plano, TX, has donated the design and construction of two state-of-the-art X-ray and imaging laboratories to Medisend College of Biomedical Engineering Technology, located in Dallas. Medisend College’s General Richard B. Myers Veterans Program trains US military veterans to become professional biomedical technicians with opportunities for careers in the healthcare industry. Medisend College has been training veterans and successfully placing them in positions with major healthcare organizations since 2013.

The two Touchstone Imaging Laboratories at Medisend College will house new advanced X-ray equipment, donated by Siemens, and four new panoramic dental X-ray units, donated by Henry Schein Dental. Veterans will enter the workplace with knowledge and experience on this state-of-the-art equipment and technology and will have the opportunity to serve their communities in rewarding and lucrative positions.
