Hammertoe Surgery Group of NYC (located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, NY) announced today that they will be offering complimentary virtual and in-person consultations for hammertoe surgery, bunion surgery, corn surgery, as well as 2nd opinions.

According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, “A covered health care provider that wants to use audio or video communication technology to provide telehealth to patients during the COVID-19 nationwide public health emergency can use any non-public facing remote communication product that is available to communicate with patients”.

Dr. Suzanne Levine, director of Hammertoe Surgery Group of NYC stated, “We fully acknowledge that in person foot surgery consultations may not be practical for some of our potential patients during Covid-19. We recognize that may of our potential patients may currently be out of the NYC area or simply prefer a virtual consultation as opposed to an in-person consultation. To ensure that our current and future patients can access the care and support they need we have launched a virtual consultation platform where our current and future patients can privately speak to one of our board certified foot surgeons.”
