SDI, Inc. Launches ‘PPE As-a-Service’ for K-12 to Address Demand for PPE and Essential Materials

To support school systems, including New York City Public Schools, in obtaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other essential materials, SDI, Inc., a leader in digital supply chain services and solutions, is launching PPE as-a-Service for K-12 education. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with state and local health departments, are issuing an evolving list of health guidelines that will require districts to collectively spend close to $25 billion on PPE and cleaning supplies, according to a study by AASA, the School Superintendents Association.

To support districts in meeting these guidelines, SDI conducts quantitative and qualitative research, and analyzes historic spend data to understand each district’s unique needs and identify how much inventory is needed.
