As part of their efforts to prioritize the well-being of both clients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic during this past spring, The Bengtson Center team decided to temporarily suspend most in-person appointments, with the exception of follow-up sessions for post-surgical patients who may be seen on an individual basis. With the offices now open again, the leading plastic surgeons in Michigan—Dr. Brad Bengtson and Dr. David Alfonso—are offering a wide range of in-person procedures focused on enhancing the appearance of the body, face, breasts, and skin. They are also continuing to provide “e-visits” for patients more comfortable meeting remotely.
During the suspension, the doctors made the virtual option available for patients who are considering a surgical, non-surgical, or skin care treatment. While placing restrictions on in-person visits to their East Paris Avenue location to reduce health risks, the doctors offered comprehensive, 30-minute online consultations for patients.
While in person appointments are available again, the two board-certified physicians are still making use of advanced private video technology to allow patients to take part in these initial visits from the safety of their homes.
Consultations can be booked for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Patients interested in talking to one of the center’s plastic surgeons can fill out a short form online to explain their cosmetic goals and submit photos to get started. There is a $75 consultation fee, which will be credited toward any surgery.
The Bengtson Center team is currently taking phone calls between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays. Patients are also encouraged to email any questions to the practice to receive responses directly from the plastic surgeons.
Additionally, Dr. Alfonso and the team are continuing to host informative seminars on individual cosmetic procedures through social media, and skin products are available for order and can be picked up from the practice (with social distancing practices enforced) or delivered straight to a home address.
