Senseware Announces Real-Time Bio-Sensing For Reopening Of Spaces After COVID-19

Senseware’s Modular IoT Architecture gives us the advantage in accelerating the time to market for leading-edge Bio-Sensors.

Senseware announced today the first real-time, continuous bio-sensing for reopening of spaces after COVID-19. This new capability will prove critical to efforts to assure building occupants that reopened spaces are healthy environments for work, learning, and all facets of everyday lives.

Senseware is a recognized leader in IAQ, bringing next-generation Particulate Matter (PM) sensing of particle sizes as small as 0.3 μm, and photoionization detector (PID) sensors for VOCs. IAQ is only the first step, however, and Senseware has recognized the value of real-time airflow monitoring to assess the impact of ventilation on airborne conditions. Airborne transmission as a mode of infection is usually scrutinized more extensively than any other possible transmission mode. Studies have shown that virus particles can remain in the air for up to three hours and on certain surfaces for up to three days.

With real-time, continuous bio-sensing, Senseware has delivered the most comprehensive Airborne Monitoring system to mitigate against potential airborne threats. The complement of bio-sensing with cleanroom grade IAQ and airflow monitoring will provide the essential scientific tools to assess the safety of reopened spaces.

“Everyone has been conditioned to be hyper-focused on what they breathe and touch. With little information available, the unknown has forced many into isolation. In order to prepare today for an unknown tomorrow, scientifically verifiable data is needed,” says Serene Almomen, CEO, Senseware.

Having real-time environmental data, airborne threat analytics and alerts can help keep the most vulnerable spaces operating safely. Senseware’s technology can give people the confidence to resume a more “normal” work environment adding more certainty to their daily lives.
