BayMark Health Services recently announced the opening of a new medication-assisted treatment facility in Dayton, Ohio, under its established brand MedMark Treatment Centers.
MedMark Dayton will provide medically-supervised medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling and support services for adults struggling with opioid addiction. The clinic, located at 4201 N. Main Street in Dayton, is now accepting patients.
“We have seen an unprecedented growth in overdose rates over the last decade, and Ohio is at the center of the crisis.” said Frank Baumann, COO of BayMark Health Services. “Medication-assisted treatment, which includes substance use counseling, provides patients with the best chance at overcoming their addiction and reclaiming their lives. MedMark wants to offer hope in areas where there is great need for a proven treatment option, and in service of that goal we plan to open additional programs across Ohio over the next few months.”
MedMark Treatment Centers are known across the country as providers of quality, individualized treatment for opioid use disorder utilizing methadone and buprenorphine. MedMark Dayton, the third program BayMark has opened in Ohio in 2019, will support the use of MAT with addiction education, relapse prevention, lab testing, coordinated care for pregnancy and linkages to community resources to assist patients on their path to recovery. Our mission is to provide comprehensive medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and other health care services to foster wellness, longevity and socially responsible behavior for the patients we serve in Ohio and across the country.
Chief Executive Officer David K. White, Ph.D. noted, “BayMark Health Services, through its various service brands, has worked diligently over the last few years to provide patients a variety of treatment options that address their unique needs. Addiction is a complex disease, and patients need to be able to conveniently and affordably access treatment that meets them where they are at. Our expansion into Ohio has been rewarding as we know that there is such tremendous need.
In addition to traditional MAT, BayMark offers inpatient withdrawal management and Suboxone® treatment in Ohio.”
