A new episode of Advancements with Ted Danson is scheduled to broadcast on Saturday, May 16, 2020 @2:30pET via CNBC. The show will focus on advances in technology as it relates to health and medicine, data, and more. Check local listings for more information on this program.
In this episode, Advancements will focus on the Pure Maintenance patented dry fog system and its ability to destroy the coronavirus on contact. Audiences will be educated about the EverPURE protectant, which protects surfaces for up to 90 days from all viruses, including COVID-19. One difficult aspect of a new virus forming is the lack of available specimens for testing. Preliminary tests have shown the virus is fairly easy to kill on a surface, when an oxidizer like Pure Maintenance is applied. Spectators will see how as an enveloped virus, the coronavirus can be killed on contact with InstaPURE or EverPURE and requires very little dwell time.
The show will also explore FleetNurse, a company that provides hospitals, medical groups, and health systems with access to quality credentialed healthcare providers on emergency short-term notice – helping to reduce understaffing and affiliated costs, while improving patient care. Viewers will learn about FleetNurse’s software and will see how it screens and qualifies providers who want to work per diem shifts. It will also look at how FleetNurse uses technology and its network of nurses and providers to connect them with facilities to ensure that patient care is not diminished due to lack of staff, while providing jobs within local communities, therefore, helping the local economy.
To many, fuel delivery is still a very manual process where a fuel provider must physically check each of their tanks to determine who needs gas when. A largely inefficient method which costs both gas and labor hours. The only way to take the labor and guesswork out of this equation is by installing an accurate tank monitor. In this segment, Advancements will focus on Otodata, a key player in the tank monitoring industry, and will educate about its derivatization to developing, manufacturing, distributing, and supporting its award-winning tank monitoring solution to businesses all over North America.
Making Maple Syrup or “sugaring” was originally a way for farmers to supplement their income. Today, it is a multimillion-dollar industry. In this episode, the show will explore the sugaring industry and will discover what it takes to produce high quality syrup. With a focus on The Maple Shop, located in Chester, New Jersey, spectators will see how the company shares its knowledge and equipment to help others make superior maple syrup, in addition to providing the highest quality syrup and products to its customers.
“The world is changing every day, and with it bringing new ideas and innovative technologies to our fingertips,” said Dustin Schwarz, programming director for the Advancements series. “We look forward to exploring these topics in this episode.
