Hoving Home to Host Virtual Event; Four-Time GRAMMY®-Winning Duo “for King & Country” to Perform

As a nonprofit that has been helping women reclaim their lives from drug and alcohol abuse for more than 50 years, Hoving Home thinks a virtual event filled with love, hope, inspiration and transformation may be just what the country needs right now.

On May 13, 2020, at 8 PM EDT / 5 PM PDT, Hoving Home will host “An Evening to #spread HOPE,” a virtual event created to: honor and thank the organization’s many volunteers and donors; send a message of hope and share resources for those in the audience who are struggling with addiction; and invite newcomers to learn more about Hoving Home’s mission and vision. Viewers participating in the event will hear the emotional testimony of some of the brave women who have been helped through the program, and will also be treated to a concert by the four-time GRAMMY® Award-Winning duo known as for KING & COUNTRY, two brothers whose brand of Christian Pop music has gained them six No. 1 singles over the last few years.

The Hoving Home approach offers a faith-based program that incorporates recovery, discipleship and mentoring to help women overcome their struggles with alcohol and substance abuse. Since Beth Greco took the reins as CEO and President of Hoving Home four years ago, she has gained a reputation for introducing new initiatives and effecting changes that have made the organization much more streamlined and efficient. She has also significantly increased charitable contributions by over 30% and expanded the mission’s total capacity by 35% since taking on this leadership role. Greco has a long history with Hoving Home, and candidly shares that she is a former graduate of the Hoving Home program as well.

Recently, Hoving Home opened a New Jersey-based facility, and has added a special Women and Children program to its New York location, providing added support for women in recovery who are pregnant or have children.

In 2019, Hoving Home reported:

  • 351 women who entered the crisis phase of the program and were offered help
  • 28 states were represented from women in the program
  • 145 women made a commitment to a 1-year discipleship
  • 15,000 women heard a message of hope through outreach efforts
