We have been very impressed with what Wildflower has achieved and how they have improved their clients’ ability to make intelligent connections with the individuals under their care.

Wildflower Health has been awarded the peer review 2020 Health Value Award in maternity management by Validation Institute.

The Health Value Awards highlight healthcare leaders and innovative vendors across the country. In its third year, the program rewards outstanding services, products, and programs across 30+ categories spanning the healthcare industry. Award winners have demonstrated measurably better and more transparent health outcomes, costs, and safety than conventional care, while investing in disrupting the health care status quo to serve a greater good.

“There’s never been a more appropriate time to recognize leaders in healthcare and to shine a light on organizations who are making a positive impact,” said RD Whitney, CEO of Validation Institute. “We have been very impressed with what Wildflower has achieved and how they have improved their clients’ ability to make intelligent connections with the individuals under their care. Digitally supporting expectant moms and their families is increasingly important, especially in light of the current pandemic, and our industry needs more examples of how to successfully engage consumers digitally to improve health outcomes.”

Amidst the uncertainty of COVID-19, the awards program was held virtually. Originally, it was scheduled to take place during the World Health Care Congress in Washington, D.C. To quality for consideration, Health Value Award candidates must complete a lengthy and rigorous application process, particularly those nominated in a peer review category who participate in an in-depth evaluation to ensure the accuracy of performance claims.

“This is a challenging time for everyone in healthcare, so we are humbled to receive this kind of recognition, especially as we all navigate the current uncertainty,” said Leah Sparks, Founder and CEO of Wildflower. “We are working hard in partnership with our clients to make sure we are doing the very best job possible to support women and families. This award is a good reminder to our team that we are making a difference, but it also is a testament to the heroic efforts our clients are making every day.”
