Grow Cart Hires Salesforce’s Ashley Damron as Chief Operating Officer

“Having worked with Boeing and Sony, Damron possesses a keen ability to clearly communicate and execute projects to their maximum potential,” says Grow Cart Founder and CEO, Rebecca Raffle.

Grow Cart is excited to announce the addition of Ashley Damron as its Chief Operating Officer.

Grow Cart is a SaaS (software as a service) that allows any dispensary to start their own cannabis e-commerce and delivery service.

Damron joins Grow Cart from global software enterprise, Salesforce. Salesforce is a cloud-based B2B software company, headquartered in San Francisco.

“At Grow Cart, our mission is to make cannabis delivery as easy as pizza delivery,” Damron says. “With both global scale and competitive moat, my role is to manage the daily details of our operational goals, prepare us to reach scale, and then focus on international expansion.”

Grow Cart’s turnkey platform has solved the cannabis delivery problem. Credit card processing challenges, app store restrictions around cannabis commerce, and predictive delivery in any city are just a few of the problems Grow Cart has solved for its customers.

SHARE CEO, Ryan McManus, says, “Grow Cart has it all – the timing, the story, the team – and is the most exciting company I have seen in years.”

“[Damron] is an enormous asset to Grow Cart,” says Founder and CEO, Rebecca Raffle. “She brings decades of experience working with industry-leading SaaS teams and managing large-scale technology projects.”

When asked about her transition to Grow Cart from Salesforce, Damron said, “I am excited for the opportunity to join such a well-rounded team, a team that’s been so methodically selected. We have the perfect combination of Silicon Valley start-up grit and Fortune 500 expertise. We each have a story that gives us the drive to take over the cannabis delivery market.”

While at Salesforce, Damron’s Client list included Live Nation, Boeing, Electronic Arts (EA) and Sony. Damron is best known as a diligent project leader who works well under pressure. “She possesses a keen ability to clearly communicate and execute projects to their maximum potential,” Raffle says.

Launched in April of 2019, Grow Cart’s technology and delivery service has been successful with recreational dispensaries in Michigan as well as CBD-only dispensaries in Indiana. Grow Cart is now accepting dispensary customers nationwide.
