Cotton Babies to Distribute FREE Cloth Diapers Across the Country

Cotton Babies, Inc., a St. Louis-based manufacturer and retailer of cloth diapers, has announced its cloth diaper bank, Share the Love, will now ship free cloth diapers directly to families in need.

“When my first baby was born, we were choosing between groceries and disposable diapers. A friend gave me cloth diapers. Her gift enabled us to buy food for our family while easing the burden of diapering our baby. Not too long later, I started a business and, for nearly 18 years, we’ve been working to make cloth diapers readily available to every family everywhere,” said Jennifer Labit, Cotton Babies founder and CEO.

Share the Love was created in 2012 with the mission of ending poverty and diaper need in communities. As many as 1 in 3 families have an insufficient supply of diapers. Volunteer hosts throughout the country accept donations and distribute the cloth diapers to families in their area. This consistent, scalable framework helps sustain communities. In order to reach families who do not have a host nearby, Cotton Babies is rolling out the option to ship diapers. Delivery fees will be the exact shipping cost plus a small handling fee. Diapers will vary based on availability, but most will receive a loan of 15 cloth diaper changes for an extended period of time. Besides providing the cloth diapers, Share the Love teaches families how to care for and use cloth diapers.

Share the Love currently has enough diapers on hand to supply around 800 families with cloth diapers. To apply for a diaper loan, visit cottonbabieslove.com to fill out an application.

  • Must be a US resident with a photo ID

  • Show proof of enrollment in WIC, TANF or any other assistance program

  • Fill out the application in its entirety
